The final campaign is the turning point of the game as it is set on D-Day. As Corporal Bill Taylor, you must destroy a German artillery battery and hold it against the massive German counteroffensive. This is where the game takes a personal, close combat approach to battle. Call of Duty 2 is a challenging game to play as you are low ranking soldiers without any control over the war.

The game delivers an in-depth storyline but you can still understand the game even as you jump across missions. The developers of Infinity Ward have scattered weapons and other resources in the game so you will focus on your mission. Overall, the game delivers a historically accurate storyline that mimics real-life combat and physical response. Some sounds have been changed to their actual counterpart, instead of sampled from a different gun.

Now it sounds much more like a real firefight, higher quality, and sound more like they fit the game. Probably barely noticeable. Notes - All sounds were recorded in areas of lots of surroundings, to fit the urban atmosphere of COD2 - DO NOT alter the soundaliases csv files unless you know what you're doing. Update is simply a quality update, all that high detailed hiss is mostly removed. Sounds are still "high detail" but they sound a lot more balanced and fit for the game. Everything else is the same, except the quality update.
